Kroger's "new" Policy

One of my class attendees was told yesterday by a Kroger manager that a new coupon policy was that

"only 2 coupons per item can be used per day per customer (internet printed or insert obtained)"

This is news to me - I am going to call the store that she went to as well as some other Krogers in the area to see if this is specific to that store.

Anyone else heard of this new policy?
